Massive downswing in turnover as mechanical movements for calculators, cash tills and meters are replaced by electronic elements. In the following years, new markets are opened and a network of representatives established.

Transformation of sole proprietorship FRITZ SCHIESS into a general partnership FRITZ SCHIESS CO (Fritz Schiess-Forrer together with his three sons). Construction of the office and administration building.
